This is the best way that I know to accrue miles (and other benefits) without doing anything crazy. It’s a matter of leveraging a system that already exists and since most of us tend to spend money each month anyway, this is a way to do and reap rewards.
Note, if you cannot pay off your credit card balance each month, you should not be using this system. It’s important to only be spending what you can afford so I only suggest people use this to pay for items they already purchase anyway rather than adding a bunch of expense to the system.
Below are my 3 favorite cards and why:
This card using the link above has a 50,000 point sign up bonus after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. It has an annual fee of $450.00 but with your $300 travel credit, it’s more like a $150.00 annual fee because that credit is applicable to any kind of travel, flights, Uber, etc. And given the sign up bonus is a round trip flight international flight, I would happily pay that fee for a flight and access to lounges, etc. Here are the key benefits of the card.
This card using the link above has a 60,000 point sign up bonus when you spend $5,000 on the card in the first 3 months of membership. It also comes with a number of benefits, which are listed below. It does have a higher annual fee but given the Uber credit, $200 airline credit, special offers and 5X points for any travel booked, for me personally it is worth the cost. Because points = miles. And miles get me flights I would never pay for out of pocket.
This is the biggest sign up bonus I know of at the moment. 80,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months, however the card is for business owners. Here are other benefits that come with this card.
Ok Here’s Step 2.
Note: Part of the way I earn miles is through affiliate partnerships, so I do receive bonus miles for sign-ups and approved applications. But the good news is that you can too!
